Nothing feeds the soul quite like a trip to Mexico. Recently, we visited Tulum to celebrate my friend Carly's 25th birthday, and let me tell you – it was one of the best trips ever. Of course, I’m going to give you all the details, but let’s start with where we stayed: the Airbnb.
It was stunning – you really feel like you’re at your own private resort. There was so much space for our group of 8: 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (a total game changer for a big group), a huge pool, and a beautiful kitchen.
The kitchen ended up being one of my favorite parts of the house. On our first night, we had a private chef come and cook for us, paired with a tequila tasting, and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit together at the dining table. It was the perfect setup for our group.
One thing to note: the location is pretty remote, so you’re not within walking distance of anything – not even a corner store. If you plan to stay here, make sure you’re prepared to drive or have transportation arranged. But honestly, that just added to the feeling of being tucked away in our own little paradise.
